Nokia’s Future X Lab

Last Tuesday 24th September 2019 Nokia opened a European 5G lab in Finland,  Finland, enabling customers to experience Nokia’s full end-to-end portfolio of 5G equipment, software, and services. 

The lab will be powered with a Universal Adaptive Core, which Nokia touts as being an “agile, access technology-agnostic adaptive cloud-native core” that allows operators to deploy on-demand high-bandwidth services across various access technologies.

The lab will display Nokia’s 5G end-to-end capabilities with live hardware, software and full network slicing along with an “Experience Zone” where customers will see demonstrations of Nokia technologies and innovations, it added.
In addition, the lab will provide a platform for internal Nokia research, prototype development, and testing and enable engagement with the wider research and innovation ecosystem.
